Photo Day Basics: What to Wear and How to Prep
Feeling a bit nervous about photo day is completely normal — even for adults. A little bit of prep goes a long way, and once the camera's actually pointed at you, our photographers will do the rest of the work for you.
Before you arrive - Get a good night's sleep — it shows on camera more than anything else does. - Solid, plain colours photograph best. Busy patterns, stripes and text-heavy logos can be distracting. - If you wear glasses, let us know — we can angle lighting to avoid glare, or you're welcome to bring a backup pair. - Eat breakfast and bring water, especially for a long event — it's much easier to look relaxed on a full stomach. - Arrive a few minutes early so you're not rushing straight into your first photo.
On the day - Stand tall, drop your shoulders, and take one breath before each photo — it settles nerves fast. - A genuine smile beats a forced one. Think of something that actually makes you smile. - You don't need to know how to pose — our photographers will guide you through it, every time. - If a pose feels awkward or uncomfortable, just say so. We'll happily reset and try again.
