Graduation photography covers the formal stage crossing plus family and group photos afterwards — both are quick, so a little know-how helps things move smoothly.

Before the ceremony - Have your gown steamed rather than heavily creased, and check your cap sits securely — a quick adjustment beforehand saves a fumble on stage. - Know which side of the stage you enter and exit from, and roughly where the designated photo point is. - If you're carrying a folder, testamur or scroll, know which hand you'll receive it in so you can hold it cleanly for the photo.
